THE NEWSROOM

Garden State Philharmonic Chorus

The Garden State Philharmonic Chorus, under the direction of Artistic Director & Conductor Anthony LaGruth, is a 45 voice auditioned chorus of area residents that perform classical choral music at the Jersey Shore. Founded in 1984, the Chorus celebrates its 24th season this year. In addition to performing with the professional orchestra in Monmouth and Ocean Counties, the Chorus has also performed at Carnegie Hall. Under Maestro LaGruth’s direction, the Chorus repertoire is ever expanding. For the past several years, they have enjoyed performing the music of Gershwin, Cole Porter and Broadway at annual fundraisers. For more information on Chorus membership or Chorus performances, please contact us at 732.451.0064.
